Emergency and Hospitalization Services

While most patients are accepted on an appointment-only basis, emergencies are always handled quickly and efficiently by all of our staff and doctors. Outside of regular business hours, Affiliated Pet Emergency Clinic is available for emergency services. The emergency clinic is located at: 7314 W. University Ave., across from the Home Depot plaza on Tower Road. You should call prior to arrival: (352) 373-4444.

Some conditions and sutiations require that your pet be hospitalized for continuing care. Many injured or sick animals need continuous fluids, IV medication, close observation, and/or treatments that cannot be provided at home. Until your pet is stable enough to be released back home, our office will continue to provide care and keep you updated on your pet's condition. For patients healthy enough to receive visitors, we encourage owners to stop in and spend time with their pets during specified times. To read our hospitalization information sheet, please click here.
